Dr. Nawal Ibraheem

Dr. Nawal Ibraheem is a consultant endocrinologist with 18 years of clinical experience, trained and certified to teach medical students and junior doctors. She completed her medical degree (MB.ChB) from Hawler Medical University in Iraq in 2006, followed by specialist training in the United Kingdom. She holds membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and a specialist certificate in endocrinology and diabetes from the Royal College of Physicians, London. Dr. Nawal completed her formal specialist training across general internal medicine, diabetes and endocrinology, gaining her certificate of completion of specialist training (CCT) from the General Medical Council, UK in 2018.

During her 5 years as a specialist in diabetes and endocrinology in UK hospitals including University Hospitals of Nottingham and Royal Derby Hospital, Dr. Nawal developed expertise in managing diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders and bone health. She has attended numerous national and international training courses including Advanced Life Support (ALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and specialist modules in maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY) and insulin-dose adjustment techniques. She has presented cases on rare and complex endocrine conditions at regional, national and international diabetes conferences.

Dr. Nawal has actively participated in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives in the UK National Health Service, combining clinical excellence with healthcare system management. She is well suited for patients needing comprehensive endocrine care, including complex diabetes management, thyroid disorders and metabolic or bone health concerns.
