Dr. Magid Al Kimawi

Dr. Magid Al Kimawi is Chair of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He earned his medical degree from King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia, and trained in the United States, completing an internship in general surgery at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Tufts Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with additional certification in pain medicine.

Dr. Al Kimawi specializes in pain management and interventional physiatry—minimally invasive procedures to treat pain and restore function. His approach combines diagnostic expertise with targeted injections and other interventions to address chronic pain conditions, spinal issues, and functional limitations. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
