Dr. Afnan Megdadi

Dr. Afnan Megdadi is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Burjeel Medical Centre Almarina in Dubai, with six years of clinical experience. She earned her medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2017 and completed her residency and master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King Abdullah University Hospital in 2023, graduating with excellent distinction. She is certified by the Jordanian Board in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, has passed MRCOG Part 1, and holds certification in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO).

Dr. Megdadi provides comprehensive women's health care across pregnancy, childbirth, and gynaecological health. Her clinical expertise includes normal labour and delivery, both elective and emergency caesarean sections, antenatal and postpartum care, and early pregnancy disorders. She also manages gynaecological conditions and procedures including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), bleeding disorders, cervical cancer screening, and infertility workup.

Before moving to the UAE in late 2023, Dr. Megdadi held clinical teaching roles at two universities in Jordan, reflecting her commitment to medical education alongside patient care. She is fluent in English and brings a patient-centred approach to women's health.
