Dr. Rajesh Chella Narendran

Dr. Rajesh Chella Narendran graduated in 1998 and trained extensively in anaesthesia and chronic pain management in the United Kingdom. He brings specialist expertise across regional anaesthesia (nerve blocks), obstetric anaesthesia for pregnant women, and peri-operative pain control for major surgery patients. Before moving to Dubai to join Mediclinic, he worked as a consultant in anaesthesia and chronic pain management in the UK.

Dr. Narendran has acquired deep experience managing patients undergoing major colorectal surgery (bowel), bariatric surgery (weight-loss), and complex facial surgeries, as well as large joint replacement procedures. His pain management work covers chronic low back pain, failed back surgery syndrome, nerve-related pain (neuropathic pain), and complex regional pain syndrome. He combines medical pain-management strategies with advanced interventional pain procedures.

Dr. Narendran is committed to evidence-based practice and has published research in international journals. He is well suited for patients requiring sophisticated pain control during and after major surgery, or those seeking specialist management of long-term pain conditions.
