Dr. Ihab Hujazi

Dr. Ihab Hujazi is a British Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 18 years of experience in the UK's National Health Service. He trained through the Eastern Deanery and obtained his specialist certification (CCT) from the Northwest Deanery in England. He completed a fellowship in lower limb orthopaedic surgery at Wirral Teaching Hospitals, where he worked with leading knee surgeons and focused on soft tissue knee procedures and hip and knee joint replacement. Dr. Hujazi is credited with establishing a successful day-case knee replacement program at Wirral University Teaching Hospital.

Throughout his career, he has worked at major orthopaedic centers including Wrightington Hospital, Royal Preston Hospital, and Manchester Royal Infirmary. His clinical experience covers sports knee injuries, knee and hip replacement surgery, fracture treatment across all ages, and management of hand and foot conditions. He has served as a clinical supervisor and medical examiner at Cambridge and Lancashire Universities, contributing to training the next generation of doctors.

Dr. Hujazi is an active researcher and has presented his work nationally and internationally, including a poster presentation at the EFORT Vienna European conference that received recognition for excellence. He believes in careful patient communication and considers successful outcomes stem from understanding the details patients share about their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
