Dr. Johns Shaji Mathew

Dr. Johns Shaji Mathew is a consultant hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgeon at Medcare Hospital, Sharjah, with over 15 years of experience managing complex diseases of the liver, pancreas, and biliary system. He trained at Christian Medical College in India and completed specialist qualifications including an MCh in Surgical Gastroenterology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. He also undertook observership training in HPB surgery and transplant in Japan, and advanced training in liver perfusion techniques at Cambridge University, UK. Before joining Medcare, he worked as a Consultant Transplant & HPB Surgeon at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi.
