Dr. Tariq Ali Shaker Aljemmali

Dr. Tariq Aljemmali is a UK-trained Consultant Nephrologist and General Physician with 17 years of experience in the British National Health Service. He completed his Certificate of Completion of Training through the West Midlands Hospitals and holds a Master's degree in Nephrology from the University of Sheffield. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London (FRCP) and previously led the Kidney Transplant Service at Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals, where he also served as Postgraduate Medical Training Lead.

Dr. Aljemmali manages the full spectrum of kidney disease, with particular expertise in kidney transplantation (from pre-transplant assessment through long-term follow-up care), dialysis, and autoimmune kidney disease. He has extensive experience treating complex conditions including vasculitis, lupus (SLE), and other glomerular diseases using biological agents and immunosuppressive therapies. He also specializes in assessing and optimizing both kidney transplant recipients and living kidney donors to reduce post-donation risk.

He is well-suited for patients with advanced chronic kidney disease needing dialysis planning, those requiring kidney transplant evaluation, and those with complex autoimmune or inflammatory kidney conditions. His focus is on optimizing graft survival, managing long-term outcomes, and using novel therapies to slow kidney disease progression.
