Dr. Sheetal Manivachagan Suresh

Dr Sheetal Manivachagan Suresh is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with two decades of clinical experience across government and private hospitals in India and the UAE. She completed her medical degree at Government Medical College, Nagpur, followed by specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, and recently earned her MRCOG qualification from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the UK. She joined NMC Specialty Hospital Al Ain in 2016 and is dedicated to treating patients with dignity while maintaining the highest standards of safety, confidentiality and ethics.

Dr Sheetal has developed strong expertise in managing complex and high-risk pregnancies, including multiple pregnancies, preterm labour, bleeding in pregnancy, malpresentation, and vaginal birth after caesarean delivery. She regularly manages obstetric emergencies such as severe pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, cord prolapse, shoulder dystocia and postpartum haemorrhage. She also has extensive experience caring for pregnant women with underlying medical conditions including heart disease, thyroid disorders, kidney disease (including those who have had kidney transplants), diabetes, respiratory conditions, and those who have had weight-loss surgery.
