Dr. Peter Loizou

Dr. Peter Loizou is a Consultant ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon with over 10 years' experience. He trained at prestigious UK universities including King's College London (where he studied Human Biology) and the University of Southampton (Medicine), followed by a Master's degree in Surgical Education from Imperial College London. He completed specialist training in the UK and holds his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He then pursued advanced fellowships in head and neck surgery in Sydney, Australia, and robotic surgery training in Florida. He has been practising in Dubai since 2020, currently at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital.

Dr. Loizou is one of the few head and neck surgeons trained in minimally invasive keyhole techniques—transoral laser microsurgery and transoral robotic surgery—for head and neck tumours. Beyond cancer surgery, he combines clinical expertise with a keen interest in facial aesthetics, having undertaken dedicated training in facial plastic surgery and non-surgical aesthetic procedures on London's Harley Street. He treats children and adults across a wide range of ENT conditions, from endoscopic sinus surgery to rhinoplasty.

Throughout his career, Dr. Loizou has been active in research and publication, holding leadership roles as Research Lead and Ethics Committee Lead at King's College Hospital London Dubai. He regularly reviews for major surgical journals and has authored book chapters in medical textbooks. His approach combines rigorous surgical technique with an appreciation for both function and aesthetic outcomes.
