Dr. Sara Jimenez

Dr. Sara Jimenez is a Staff Physician in the Diagnostic Radiology & Imaging Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Diagnostics Institute. She brings over two decades of specialized experience in breast imaging and interventional procedures. Before joining Cleveland Clinic, she led the Breast Radiology Department at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid and served as co-head of the Breast Radiology Unit at Hospital Ruber Internacional, also in Madrid, for seven years.

Dr. Jimenez trained in radiology at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, completing additional rotations at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington DC and Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. She specializes in breast imaging including mammography, breast ultrasound, and MRI, as well as image-guided breast biopsies. She is an active contributor to the field, regularly speaking at international breast congresses, participating in clinical trials, and publishing scientific communications.
