Dr. Sarah Said

Dr. Sarah Said is a Specialist in Emergency Medicine at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, bringing over 11 years of hands-on experience in high-pressure emergency settings across the UAE. She qualified from Ain Shams University in Cairo in 2011 and has worked extensively in both Egypt and the Emirates, including eight years at Mediclinic in Dubai before joining Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Said manages the full range of emergency presentations in both children and adults, with particular expertise in trauma, critical care, and acute medical crises. She is especially skilled in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS)—rapid bedside scanning to help make fast diagnoses when every minute counts. She holds advanced life support certifications in trauma (ATLS), cardiac emergencies (ACLS), and paediatric care (PALS), and is a full member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
