Dr. Ahmed Fouad Ibrahim

Dr. Ahmed Fouad Ibrahim is a Consultant Anesthesiologist at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi with more than 37 years of clinical experience. He trained at Ain Shams University in Cairo, where he later became an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine. He has spent 29 of his career years practising in the United Arab Emirates, holding leadership positions including Head of the Anesthesia Department at major Abu Dhabi hospitals before joining Reem Hospital in May 2022.

Dr. Ibrahim specializes in regional anesthesia—including both neuraxial techniques (spinal and epidural blocks) and peripheral nerve blocks—as well as intensive care medicine. He is recognized for pioneering specialized anesthetic techniques for lower limb nerve blocks, and his work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Ain Shams Journal of Anesthesiology and Al Azhar Medical Journal, covering topics such as sciatic nerve block approaches and lumbar plexus techniques.

He brings a patient-centered approach grounded in decades of experience managing complex anesthetic care.
