Dr. د. محمود عبدالحكيم

Dr Mahmoud Abdelhakeem is a distinguished consultant urologist with advanced training from leading Western institutions. He completed a clinical fellowship in endoscopic urology at Henry Mondor Hospital in Paris, France, under the mentorship of Professor C.C. Abbou, and holds fellowship status with the European Board of Urology. He combines international expertise with his role as Associate Professor of Urology at Cairo University.

Dr Abdelhakeem specializes in robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures including radical prostatectomy, bladder removal, kidney removal, and reconstructive urological surgery. He has performed over 1,200 successful laser prostate procedures for benign enlargement and is skilled in flexible and rigid ureteroscopy for kidney stones. His clinical experience extends to kidney transplantation, urological cancer surgery, pediatric reconstructive procedures, and penile implant surgery.

As a pioneer in robotic urology in the region, Dr Abdelhakeem founded the Prostate Care Center and directs RoboSurg, an advanced robotic surgical centre. He is the first African urologist to obtain certification from Cleopatra Surgical Centre and holds leadership positions including Chair of the Endoscopy and Robotics Section at the Egyptian Society of Urology. He is an active researcher and sought-after speaker at leading international conferences, publishing peer-reviewed work on robotic-assisted bladder removal, laser prostate surgery, and minimally invasive cancer techniques.
