Dr. Jaffar Vali Sayyed

Dr. Jaffar Vali Sayyed is a specialist neurologist at Aster Hospital in Dubai with over 10 years of experience. He trained at some of India's leading medical institutions, including Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) in Trivandrum, where he completed his neurology specialisation (DM), and Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi, where he undertook fellowship training in stroke and vascular neurology.

Dr. Jaffar manages a wide range of neurological conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. His core interests include acute stroke management, epilepsy, headache and migraine disorders, movement disorders (including Parkinson's disease and tremor), multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disorders, and neurocritical care. He has particular expertise in administering Botox injections for chronic, medication-resistant headaches and movement disorders, and is skilled in diagnostic cerebral angiography and electrophysiology studies such as nerve conduction studies and EEG interpretation.
