Dr. Andrei Minou

Dr. Andrei Minou is an Associate Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He brings 18 years of clinical experience, including a distinguished tenure as Chief of the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantation and Hematology in Minsk, Belarus, before joining Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Minou has extensive expertise in anesthesia for liver transplant procedures, having administered anesthesia for over 700 transplant cases. He was instrumental in providing anesthesia for the first liver transplants performed in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Armenia—a significant milestone in regional transplant history. His particular clinical focus is managing blood clotting problems in patients with liver disease. He has also developed expertise in patient blood management and anesthesia care for obese patients undergoing surgery.

Throughout his career, Dr. Minou has been actively involved in teaching and training junior doctors, presenting regularly at national and international medical meetings. He is well-suited for patients requiring complex anesthesia management during major transplant and surgical procedures.
