Dr. Arya Vinu

Dr. Arya Vinu is a Specialist Radiologist at Burjeel Hospital in Sharjah with over 12 years of clinical experience across multiple countries. She holds an MBBS degree and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR), UK, and is Indian Board Certified in Radiology. She completed her postgraduate training in Radiology at Government Medical College, Trivandrum, one of India's oldest tertiary care institutions.

Dr. Vinu has worked extensively in different healthcare systems, spending four years as an Assistant Professor at a teaching medical college in India, followed by six years as a Specialist Radiologist in Oman, and later in Dubai before joining Burjeel. She is skilled in all diagnostic imaging modalities including MRI (3T and 1.5T), CT scans, ultrasound, X-rays, mammography, and fluoroscopy. She also performs non-vascular interventional procedures such as needle biopsies and drainage procedures.

Her particular interest lies in female and fetal imaging, with a focus on breast imaging and obstetric ultrasound (antenatal scans). Dr. Vinu speaks English, Hindi, Malayalam, and basic Arabic, and is a life member of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, Indian Medical Association, and Indian College of Radiology and Imaging.
