Dr. Redmond Clancy

Redmond is a results-driven physiotherapist based at Mediclinic City Hospital who helps patients recover from injury, restore movement, and return to the activities they enjoy. He graduated with honours from University College Dublin and holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist qualification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He has also completed a Higher Diploma in Football Medicine with FIFA. Before joining Mediclinic City Hospital, he gained experience at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital and the Emirates Airlines Clinic, working with diverse patient populations.

Redmond treats shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle pain; acute sports injuries; neck and lower back pain; and complex musculoskeletal problems. He specialises in pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation, including recovery from ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction. His hands-on techniques include advanced manual therapy, trigger point dry needling, joint manipulation, kinesiotaping, and Neurokinetic Therapy (Advanced Level 3). He also designs personalised exercise programmes, strength-development plans, and sport-specific conditioning schedules.

His approach combines hands-on therapy with active rehabilitation and patient education, aiming for fast, effective results. He is a good fit for athletes, people recovering from surgery, and anyone seeking evidence-based, movement-focused care to relieve pain and restore confidence.
