Dr. Sameh Mounir Nessim Tayab

Dr. Sameh Mounir is a senior cardiologist with over 30 years of clinical experience in heart and vascular diseases. He completed his medical degree at Alexandria University, Egypt in 1995 and obtained specialist qualifications in cardiology and vascular diseases from Ain Shams University, Cairo in 2005. He has worked extensively as a specialist and senior specialist cardiologist across both private and government hospitals in Egypt before relocating to the UAE in 2011, where he joined NMC Healthcare in Sharjah.

Dr. Mounir manages a comprehensive range of cardiac conditions, including acute heart attacks, high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol, heart valve diseases, irregular heartbeats, and congenital heart conditions. His expertise encompasses diagnostic techniques such as ECG, echocardiography (heart ultrasound), stress testing, Holter monitoring, and CT coronary angiography. He has significant experience in emergency cardiology and managing critically unwell patients, including those requiring mechanical ventilation support.

He is well-suited for patients with chest pain, those requiring specialist heart imaging, and individuals managing complex heart conditions. Dr. Mounir is a member of the Egyptian Cardiac Society and brings decades of experience from managing a dedicated 21-bed intensive and coronary care unit.
