Dr. Ahmed Galal

Dr. Ahmed Galal is a neurosurgery consultant with over 15 years of experience at consultant level. He trained in Egypt at Ain Shams University, where he completed both his medical degree in 1997 and a doctorate in neurosurgery in 2006. He then pursued advanced subspecialty training in the United States, including a surgical neuro-oncology fellowship at the University of Virginia and a two-year neuro-endovascular fellowship at Albany Medical Center in New York.

After his fellowship training, Dr. Galal returned to Egypt as a faculty member at Ain Shams University's Neurosurgery Department before transitioning to private practice in Saudi Arabia. He currently serves as a Neurosurgery Consultant at Dr Erfan and Bagedo Hospital in Jeddah. His expertise spans complex brain and spinal conditions, with particular focus on tumour surgery and minimally invasive endovascular techniques.
