Dr. Ali Aldibbiat

Dr. Ali Aldibbiat is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Mediclinic with over 21 years of clinical experience across the UK and Middle East. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in both London and Edinburgh, and holds accreditation in endocrinology, diabetes, and obesity from the UK General Medical Council. His research on islet cell transplantation and stem cell therapy for diabetes directly led to the establishment of the NHS-funded Islet Transplantation Program for type 1 diabetes in the UK.

Dr. Aldibbiat manages the full spectrum of endocrine conditions: type 1 and type 2 diabetes, obesity, insulin resistance, thyroid disorders (including hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism), pituitary conditions, and polycystic ovary syndrome. He has a particular focus on diabetes technology, including insulin pump therapy and artificial pancreas (closed-loop) systems. He has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals, presented at regional, national, and international conferences, and serves as an external examiner for postgraduate diabetes programs at South Wales University.
