Dr. El Sherif Omar Shafie is a Consultant in Family Medicine at American Hospital Dubai. He completed his medical degree at Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt, then trained in both general surgery and family medicine at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in the United States. He is certified by the American Board of Family Physicians and holds memberships with the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and Michigan Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Shafie's clinical work spans comprehensive family medicine, urgent care, preventive health, chronic disease management, and minor surgical procedures.
