Dr. Farzad Zahedi

Dr. Farzad is an accomplished ophthalmologist with 16 years of clinical experience treating patients of all ages. He completed his medical degree at St. Petersburg Pavlov's State Medical University in Russia and went on to earn specialized training in ophthalmology and a PhD in the field, with research focused on glaucoma and optic nerve disease. He has worked at leading eye care centres in both Russia and the United Arab Emirates, bringing international experience to his practice at Polyclinic Dubai.

Dr. Farzad offers comprehensive eye care covering the full spectrum of ophthalmology. He specializes in cataract surgery using phacoemulsification, glaucoma management and surgical treatment, and the diagnosis and management of diabetic eye disease and retinopathy. He is skilled in modern diagnostic imaging including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Fluorescein Angiography (FFA), and performs laser treatments such as Panretinal Photocoagulation.
