Dr. Ayman Ismail Amin Kamel

Dr. Ayman Ismail Amin Kamel is Chair of the Radiology Department and Chief Consultant Radiologist at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai, with over 25 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He trained at Cairo University's Kasr El Aini School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree and specialist qualifications, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in the UK.

Dr. Kamel specializes in complex diagnostic angiography—detailed imaging of blood vessels in the brain, heart, lungs, and abdomen—combined with minimally invasive interventional procedures. He performs emergency and elective embolization (blocking blood vessels) to treat bleeding, vascular tumors, and malformations; manages aneurysms through coiling; performs image-guided biopsies and abscess drainage; and handles advanced venous procedures including filter placement and varicocele treatment. He is equally skilled in MRI, CT, and conventional X-ray imaging across all body regions.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Kamel is an active researcher and educator who supervises postgraduate theses, has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on imaging techniques and interventional outcomes, and has delivered keynote presentations at international conferences. He is a member of the European Society of Radiology and World Stroke Organization. His approach combines technical innovation with patient-centered care, making him a leader in modern radiology practice.
