Dr. Rajeev Kamble

Dr. Rajeev Kamble is a Specialist Interventional Radiologist at Medcare Hospital Sharjah with 9 years of experience. He trained at the Post-graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, India, where he completed an MD in Radiodiagnosis and a DM in Neuroradiology & Interventional Radiology. He holds a DNB in Radiodiagnosis from India's National Board and passed the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) exam, qualifying him to perform image-guided minimally invasive procedures across Europe and beyond.

Dr. Kamble specializes in neuro-interventions (treating brain stroke, aneurysms, and abnormal blood vessel formations), peripheral vascular procedures (from basic imaging to advanced vessel cleaning), venous interventions, and tumor ablation using heat or chemical methods. He has performed clot removal for acute stroke, embolization (blocking blood flow) for brain aneurysms and vascular malformations, drainage of liver and other abscesses, thyroid biopsies and ablations, and uterine artery embolization for postpartum bleeding and fibroids. His experience spans pediatric cases and liver interventions including bile duct stenting.

Before joining Medcare Sharjah, Dr. Kamble worked at leading hospitals in India including PGIMER (where he began), Sri Ramchandra Medical College (as Assistant Professor), and Yashoda Hospitals as Consultant. He continues as a Clinical Adjunct Professor at Sri Ramchandra Medical College & Research Institute. He is an active member of major professional societies including the Indian Society of Neuroradiology, Indian Society for Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Society of Therapeutic Neuro Interventions, and CIRSE. He has presented and published work internationally, including at the American Society of Neuroradiology conference.
