Dr. Marilyn Rabih Karam

Dr. Marilyn Karam is a consultant allergist and clinical immunologist certified by the American Board in both Allergy and Clinical Immunology and Internal Medicine. She trained at leading US institutions—completing her internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan and her allergy fellowship at the University of Michigan—before returning to the Middle East. She holds a medical degree from the American University of Beirut and spent 6 years as an Assistant Professor there before moving to Dubai.

Dr. Karam provides comprehensive care to both adults and children with allergic and immunological conditions. Her work focuses on diagnosis and management of allergies and immune disorders using evidence-based approaches. She has a particular commitment to medical education, serving as the Internal Medicine Clerkship Coordinator and director of allergy and immunology electives at AUB, where she mentors medical students and residents. From 2017 to 2021, she led quality improvement initiatives as Medical Director of Internal Medicine Specialty Clinics and Outpatient Quality Improvement Director.
