Dr. Muhammad Owais Murtaza

Dr Muhammad Owais Murtaza is a UK-trained Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and General Internal Medicine with nearly 19 years of clinical experience. He completed his specialist training at Oxford Deanery in 2015 and has worked across leading NHS hospitals including Oxford University Hospitals, Stoke Mandeville Hospital, and Royal Preston Hospital, where he developed expertise in managing complex diabetes and endocrine disorders.

Dr Murtaza specialises in diabetes technology (including insulin pump services), obesity management, and thyroid disease. He has particular experience in managing diabetes in pregnancy and has led clinical services in these areas. His credentials include MBBS, MRCP (UK), a Specialty Certificate in Diabetes and Endocrinology, and Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). He also holds an ARSAC license for radioiodine prescription and has completed a Global Obesity Action and Leadership fellowship.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Murtaza is committed to patient education and medical training.
