Dr. Chinmay Pankajkumar Shah

Dr. Chinmay Shah is a specialist interventional radiologist with over 8 years of experience managing complex vascular and neuroradiology cases. He completed his medical degree and radiology training in India, followed by a superspecialization (DM) in Neuroimaging and Interventional Neuroradiology from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology in Trivandrum. He has been practicing in Dubai for 4 years.

Dr. Shah treats a wide range of conditions using minimally invasive, image-guided techniques. His neurovascular expertise includes treating brain aneurysms and vascular malformations using embolization (a procedure that blocks abnormal blood vessels), managing acute strokes through catheter-based intervention, and placing stents in the carotid artery to prevent stroke. Beyond the brain and neck, he performs peripheral artery angioplasty and stenting for leg circulation problems, and carries out image-guided tissue sampling (biopsy and fine-needle aspiration) and fluid drainage procedures. He also specializes in diagnostic neuroradiology imaging.
