Dr. Sudarshan Karavoor Shetty

Dr. Sudarshan Karavoor Shetty is a paediatrician and paediatric nephrologist with over 20 years of clinical experience across India and the UAE. He trained at J.J.M. Medical College in Davangere and completed his specialist qualification in paediatrics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. His further training included a fellowship in paediatric nephrology at St. John's Medical College in Bangalore and an ISN fellowship at McGill University in Montreal, giving him deep expertise in kidney disease in children.

Dr. Shetty's clinical work covers paediatric nephrology (kidney disease in children), neonatology (newborn care), paediatric intensive care, immunisation, and nutrition in children. He has worked as a consultant paediatrician in India before moving to the UAE in August 2015, where he served as a specialist at a private hospital in Abu Dhabi and held the role of Medical Director for three years. He is fluent in six languages and brings a patient-centred approach to counselling families through complex conditions.
