Dr. Karim Shahin

Dr. Karim Shahin is an Associate Staff Physician within the Hospital Medicine Program at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He earned his medical degree from Cairo University Medical School in Egypt and completed his internal medicine residency at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist for over two years before joining Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Shahin specializes in inpatient care and hospital medicine, managing acutely ill patients in the hospital setting. He holds certifications from both the Arab Board and Jordanian Board in Internal Medicine, and brings more than 7 years of dedicated experience in hospital medicine and inpatient care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led a plasma donation project at Zayed Military Hospital, demonstrating his commitment to community health initiatives.
