Dr. Ashwathi Prasad is a Specialist Dermatologist at Zulekha Hospital in Sharjah, with training in both adult and pediatric dermatology. She holds an MBBS degree and an MD in Skin and Venereology, and has worked across leading Indian medical institutions including St. John's Medical College in Bangalore, where she served as a senior registrar, and Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, where she was an Assistant Professor. She later practiced as a consultant dermatologist at Mercy Hospital in India.

Dr. Prasad diagnoses and treats a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions in both children and adults. She has a particular clinical focus on pediatric dermatology, hair and scalp disorders (trichology), dermatologic surgery for skin lesions and growths, and sexually transmitted skin infections. Her research background includes studies on acne, comparing topical treatments such as adapalene gel and benzoyl peroxide, and work on sexually transmitted diseases and their management.

She is fluent in English, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, allowing her to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Dr. Prasad is dedicated to providing patient-centered care combining medical treatment with attention to cosmetic outcomes.
