Dr. Galaa Mohamed Ahmed Mahmoud is a clinical psychologist with 18 years of experience in mental health care. She holds a PhD in Mental Health, a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Higher Diploma in Clinical Psychology from the University of Khartoum. Dr. Mahmoud has worked across leading psychiatric and neurological hospitals in Sudan and the UAE, including Khartoum Bahri Neurological and Psychiatric Hospital, and most recently at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Her expertise spans cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), psychotherapy, and behavioural modification techniques. She specializes in anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, sleep problems, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Dr. Mahmoud has also led group and individual therapy programmes for substance-use recovery and provides psychological support for elderly patients and families of children with developmental needs.
