Dr. Anjum Ishaque

Dr. Anjum Ishaque is a British-trained general practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience in London, where she worked as a GP in Westminster near Harley Street before relocating to Dubai in 2016. She completed her MBBS at Dow Medical College in Karachi, then undertook postgraduate training at leading London hospitals including St Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospital, gaining experience across gastroenterology, cardiology, rheumatology, and general medicine before specialising in family practice.

She manages the full scope of family medicine: chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes, and thyroid disease; acute minor problems like headaches, rashes, urinary tract infections, acne, and back pain; women's health and cancer screening; travel advice and vaccinations; and stress, anxiety, and depression. She also performs procedures such as cryotherapy (freezing) for warts and verrucae, arranges investigations, and coordinates referrals to specialists when needed.
