Dr. Mustapha Shaaraoui is an Assistant Professor and cardiac electrophysiologist at American Hospital Dubai, with training from leading US institutions including Cleveland Clinic, Yale, and Lehigh Valley. He holds board certifications in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, and is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Shaaraoui's clinical expertise spans the full range of heart rhythm disorders and device management. He performs radiofrequency ablation for complex arrhythmias including persistent and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, atypical atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardias, and both endocardial and epicardial ventricular tachycardias. He also implants and manages pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, and loop monitors, and performs advanced procedures including laser lead extraction.
