Dr. Ghada Abdelkawi

Dr. Ghada Abdelkawi is a Specialist Periodontist at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi with more than 26 years of clinical experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Oral and Dental Medicine (1997), a Master's degree in Periodontology (2005), and a PhD (2012), all from Tanta University's Faculty of Dentistry in Egypt. Before joining Burjeel, she practiced extensively in both government and private healthcare facilities in Egypt and taught dentistry students at Tanta University for a decade.

Dr. Abdelkawi specializes in treating complex gum diseases through advanced surgical techniques, including periodontal surgery, root coverage procedures (restoring gum tissue lost to recession), and soft and hard tissue regeneration around dental implants. She is also skilled in implant placement, crown and bridge work supported by implants, laser dentistry for aesthetic and periodontal treatment, and comprehensive oral rehabilitation. She has completed specialized training in implant dentistry across Egypt, the UAE, and Germany.

She is fluent in English and Arabic and is particularly well-suited for patients needing complex gum or implant work, aesthetic gum procedures, or those who prefer treatment under sedation or general anesthesia.
