Dr. Aida Suhaimi

Dr. Aida Suhaimi is a Clinical Psychologist at Medcare Camali Clinic in Jumeirah, Dubai. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of Adelaide, a Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tasmania, and a PhD in Psychological Medicine from Universiti Putra Malaysia. With 10 years of experience across community mental health clinics, schools, hospitals and mental health institutions in multiple countries, she brings a deeply integrated approach to patient care.

Dr. Suhaimi's clinical work spans psychological, psycho-educational and neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. For younger patients, she administers IQ tests, evaluates learning abilities, adaptive functioning and emotional or behavioural concerns. In adults, she assesses cognitive abilities, attention, memory and executive functioning, and manages conditions including depression, anxiety disorders (OCD, specific phobias, panic attacks), personality difficulties, self-esteem issues and adjustment challenges. She places particular emphasis on understanding how physical health and mental wellbeing interact, using a holistic approach to support overall wellness.

Dr. Suhaimi has a special clinical interest in women's mental health, including postpartum depression, life transitions, chronic pain conditions, weight management concerns and eating disorders. She is fluent in English and Malay, and has contributed multiple publications and international presentations throughout her career.
