Dr. Abdulkarim Medhat Saleh

Dr. Abdulkarim Medhat Saleh is a Consultant Nephrologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, where he also serves as Acting Dean of Education. He holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Nephrology and brings 26 years of clinical and academic expertise to his practice.

Dr. Saleh completed his medical degree at the American University of Beirut, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Centre of Northwestern University. He then specialized further with a fellowship in Nephrology at Yale University. His clinical focus spans kidney disease management, dialysis care, and kidney transplantation. He has held several senior leadership roles at SSMC, including founding the hospital's education institute, chairing the renal and medicine programmes, and serving as Deputy Chief Medical Officer.

He is fluent in English, Arabic, and French, and maintains active membership in the American Society of Nephrology and the Emirates Medical Association. Dr. Saleh is well suited for patients requiring specialist kidney care, transplant assessment, or complex nephrology management.
