Dr. Dhaval Darji

Dr. Dhaval Darji is a Specialist in Pediatrics at NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah, with over 6 years of clinical experience in pediatric intensive care across India and the UAE. He trained at M.P. Shah Medical College in Gujarat, India, where he earned his medical degree, followed by a DNB (Diploma in National Board) qualification in Pediatrics from the National Board in New Delhi. He previously worked as a Consultant Pediatrician and Chief Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist at leading hospitals in India.

Dr. Darji specializes in caring for critically ill children, particularly those recovering from heart surgery or requiring advanced life support. His clinical expertise spans pediatric dialysis (kidney support), ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation—a machine that temporarily takes over the heart and lung function), management of post-cardiac surgery patients, and pediatric emergency care. He holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) from the American Heart Institute.

Dr. Darji has presented research at international pediatrics conferences, including the 24th World Congress on Pediatrics, Neonatology & Primary Care, and has published articles on pediatric kidney and neurological conditions in peer-reviewed journals. He has also served as teaching faculty at several hospitals in India. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi.
