Dr. Nikil Sudarsan

Dr Nikil Sudarsan is a UK board-certified Consultant Paediatrician with specialist expertise in paediatric neurology. He trained in paediatrics in Birmingham, UK, and completed his specialist qualifications including MRCPCH and CCT in Paediatrics from the General Medical Council. He obtained his FRCPCH in 2021 and holds a postgraduate certificate in medical education from Warwick University. Before joining King's College Hospital London Dubai, he worked as Consultant Paediatrician and Neurology Lead at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital Brighton from 2015 to 2022, where he also led genomic medicine initiatives for the NHS Southeast Genomic Medicine Service Alliance.

Dr Nikil has broad experience in acute and chronic general paediatric conditions and is particularly skilled in neurological disorders affecting children. His main areas of focus include epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, and conditions affecting brain development and function. He specialises in autism spectrum conditions, ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), cerebral palsy, Tourette syndrome, tic disorders, and functional neurological disorders in children. He is a trainer and course director for the British Paediatric Neurology Association's Epilepsy Training course.
