Dr. Norran Hussein Said

Dr. Norran Hussein Said is the Division Chief of Breast Radiology at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai, where she brings over two decades of experience in breast imaging and intervention. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiology (UK) and completed advanced training at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard University, supported by the prestigious Derek Harwood Nash Fellowship from the Radiological Society of North America. Her medical credentials include an MD and MS in Radiology from Cairo University.

Dr. Norran specializes in advanced breast imaging techniques including 3D mammography, contrast-enhanced mammography, breast MRI, and breast ultrasound. She also performs minimally invasive procedures such as core and vacuum-assisted biopsies, stereotactic biopsies, and wire localization. Her practice combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to research and education, having contributed to major international conferences and co-authored a chapter in the Springer-published book Lobar Approach to Breast Ultrasound.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Norran is deeply involved in women's health advocacy. She co-founded the Egyptian Society of Women's Health and served as Chief Breast Radiologist for the Egyptian National Breast Screening Program. She has led over 25 breast imaging training courses and spoken at more than 35 public awareness events, demonstrating her commitment to educating both medical professionals and the public about breast health.
