Dr. Zuhdi Azzam

Dr. Zuhdi Azzam is an endodontist with over 20 years of dental experience, based at Polyclinic Dubai. He earned his DDS in 2004 and completed a Master's degree in Endodontics in 2010. His practice focuses on advanced endodontic care, particularly complex cases that other dentists may find challenging.

Dr. Azzam specializes in micro-endodontics—using an endodontic microscope, CBCT imaging, and advanced techniques to treat difficult root canals. His expertise includes retreatments (redoing failed root canals), curved or blocked canals, instrument retrieval (removing broken instruments), perforation repair, internal resorption, and apical surgeries with retrograde fillings. He uses warm vertical condensation, MTA materials for open apex and perforation repair, and bio-ceramic sealers to ensure optimal outcomes.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Azzam has taught in three dental colleges, trained dental students, and actively conducts research. He is a frequent speaker at international dental conferences and mentors clinicians.
