Dr. Adel Ahmad Elnaggar

Dr. Adel El-Naggar is an endocrinologist with 19 years of experience managing diabetes, obesity, and hormonal conditions. He trained at Ain Shams University in Cairo, where he completed his medical degree and specialist qualification in internal medicine and endocrinology. He undertook postgraduate training in the UK (Saint Andrew University and Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh) and attended advanced practical courses in diabetes and endocrinology across the USA, Denmark, UK, and France. He has worked in the United Kingdom and the Middle East, including the Gulf region, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Dr. El-Naggar treats a wide range of endocrine conditions in both adults and children. His main focus areas include type 1 and type 2 diabetes (with emphasis on recent heart-risk reduction strategies), gestational diabetes and diabetes in pregnancy, obesity management, thyroid disorders and tumors, pituitary and adrenal gland diseases, polycystic ovary syndrome, reproductive and hormonal disorders, testicular dysfunction, and familial conditions such as familial hypercholesterolaemia in children. He also diagnoses and manages insulin resistance and metabolic disorders with individualized treatment plans, and provides care for internal medicine and chronic disease management.

Dr. El-Naggar is an assistant professor of internal medicine and endocrinology at Sharjah University College of Medicine. He is an active speaker at international diabetes and obesity conferences in the Middle East and appears as a bilingual (Arabic and English) media commentator on health topics in the UAE.
