Dr. Azeem Saeed

Dr. Azeem Saeed is a Staff Physician in the Hospital Medicine Program at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He earned his medical degree (MBBS) from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center (affiliated with Columbia University) in New York, finishing in 2004. With 25 years of clinical experience, he has cared for thousands of patients with complex medical conditions across multiple healthcare settings.

Throughout his career, Dr. Saeed has focused on acute care in inpatient hospital settings. He previously served as a Hospitalist at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina (2008–2014) and as a Staff Physician at Wayne Family Medical Center and Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, North Carolina (2004–2008). He also held an Affiliate Assistant Professor position at East Carolina University from 2011 to 2014, where he led case-based seminars for medical students and served as an alternate supervisor at the East Carolina Heart Institute.

Dr. Saeed is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and brings a patient-centered approach to managing acute and complex medical conditions in hospital settings. He is fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.
