Dr. Jagpreet Singh Deed is a Specialist Bariatric and General Surgeon at Zulekha Hospital, Sharjah, with over 22 years of surgical experience. He completed his General Surgery training at Lady Hardinge Medical College in Delhi, India, and previously served as Consultant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Fortis La Femme Hospital, two of India's leading institutions. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic procedures.

Dr. Deed's clinical expertise spans bariatric surgery, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, hernia repair, hepatobiliary surgery, colorectal surgery, and gastrointestinal endoscopy. He has completed prestigious fellowships in surgical oncology from the Tata Memorial Centre and in robotic and laparoscopic oncosurgery. He is particularly skilled in single-incision laparoscopic surgery (keyhole surgery through a single small cut) and has undergone specialized laparoscopy training at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio.

Currently, Dr. Deed serves as a Clinical Honorary Tutor for the University of Edinburgh's MSc Program in Surgical Sciences and regularly conducts laparoscopic training at international forums and the Sharjah Surgical Institute.
