Dr. Mohamed Tammam

Dr. Mohamed Tammam is an Egyptian neurosurgeon with 12 years of clinical experience, currently practising at Burjeel in Abu Dhabi. He trained at Assiut University in Egypt, where he completed his medical degree, master's, and PhD in neurosurgery, and undertook specialist skull base and spine fellowship training in the UK. His practice spans both adult and paediatric neurosurgery across multiple areas.

Dr. Tammam specializes in surgical management of spinal conditions, particularly using minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques. He treats lumbar disc prolapse, spinal canal narrowing, spinal fractures, and spinal cord injuries. He also performs microsurgical and endoscopic removal of brain tumours, including those in complex locations such as the cerebellopontine angle. Beyond tumour work, he manages neurocritical conditions including elevated intracranial pressure and hydrocephalus, as well as paediatric neurosurgical cases such as brain tumour resection and congenital abnormalities.
