Dr. Zahraa El Wahed

Dr. Zahraa El Wahed is a UK-trained family medicine physician who holds membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners. She studied at the University of Dundee and completed her specialist training in Glasgow, where she received several awards for her academic and clinical work. She has worked as a Family Medicine Consultant in well-regarded practices in Glasgow and London, developing broad experience across hospital specialties including acute medicine, surgery, women's health, child health, and mental health.

Dr. El Wahed brings particular expertise in managing chronic conditions, with specialist interests in cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, gastrointestinal disease, diabetes, and geriatric care. She also provides screening and preventative medicine services, alongside dermatology, ENT, ophthalmology, and musculoskeletal medicine. Her approach combines thorough clinical management with a strong focus on building effective doctor–patient relationships and holistic care.

Beyond clinical practice, she has taught medical students at King's College London and the University of Glasgow, and has undertaken several leadership roles in quality improvement. She is passionate about helping patients manage complex health conditions over the long term while maintaining a preventative perspective.
