Dr. Mohammed Imran

Dr. Mohammed Imran is an orthopaedic surgeon with 14 years of experience in bone and joint care. He completed his MBBS from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Karnataka in 2005, followed by specialist training including an MS in Orthopaedics (2008) and MCh in Orthopaedics (2018). He has undertaken fellowships in shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty, knee arthroscopic surgery, and foot and ankle procedures, with additional training at leading centres in India and China.

Dr. Imran treats a wide range of orthopaedic conditions including fractures, trauma, joint replacement (hip and knee), and arthroscopic repairs. He has particular expertise in managing complex paediatric conditions such as cerebral palsy, clubfoot (CTEV), Blount's disease, rickets, and osteogenesis imperfecta. His surgical skills extend to ACL reconstruction, tendon transfers, arthroplasty, and reconstructive procedures including skin grafting for orthopaedic injuries.

Before joining NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Imran worked as an assistant professor teaching medical students and as a visiting consultant across multiple hospitals in India and the Maldives. He brings both clinical expertise and academic experience to patient care.
