Dr. Emad Tawfik is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 18 years of clinical experience. He trained at Cairo University (primary medical degree) and Ain Shams University (Master's in Orthopaedic Surgery), and has worked across government and private healthcare in both the UAE and Egypt. He now practices at King's College Hospital London (Dubai), where he combines his extensive trauma background with advanced training in spine surgery, arthroplasty, and paediatric orthopaedics completed across Europe and the Middle East.

Dr. Tawfik specialises in minimally invasive spine surgery, knee arthroscopy, and trauma management. His practice covers acute and chronic lower back pain, spinal deformities (scoliosis, kyphosis), disc herniation, degenerative disc disease, knee sports injuries, osteoarthritis, and complex musculoskeletal trauma. He uses evidence-based treatment and minimally invasive techniques where appropriate, tailoring care plans to each patient's condition and lifestyle.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Tawfik has served as a clinical tutor at Gulf Medical College and actively participates in international orthopaedic training programmes and symposia.
