Dr. Mudhar Hasan

Dr Mudhar Hasan is an accomplished urologist with over 18 years of clinical experience. He trained in Iraq and Sweden, earning his medical degree from Baghdad University's College of Medicine and completing his urology specialist training at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm in 2010. Between 2012 and 2020, he led the Department of Urology at Danderyds Hospital and held a teaching position at the Karolinska Institute. He now heads the Urology department at Mediclinic City Hospital and is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr Mudhar is an experienced endo-urologist and robotic surgeon who has successfully performed more than 700 minimally invasive robotic procedures. He treats a wide range of urological conditions including kidney stones, bladder tumours, prostate and kidney cancers, as well as strictures (narrowing) of the tubes that carry urine from the kidneys. He has particular expertise in robotic reconstructive surgery for both adults and children.
