Dr. Shahzad Jokhio

Dr. Shahzad Jokhio is a Consultant in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine with extensive experience built across leading US academic medical centres. He trained at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, where he completed residency in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He also holds an MBBS from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, graduating with honours. His career has included senior leadership roles, serving as Director of UTMB Sleep Laboratories at the University of Texas Medical Branch and Director of Respiratory Care Services at SUNY Upstate Medical University.

Dr. Jokhio is American Board-Certified in Sleep Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Pulmonary Diseases, with current recertifications in all three specialties. He manages a wide range of conditions affecting the lungs and airways, from obstructive sleep apnea to acute respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation.
