Dr. Claire Bladwell

Claire is a registered occupational therapist who graduated from Griffith University, Australia in 2021. She has focused her career on hand and upper limb rehabilitation, completing four years of advanced training and clinical experience in this specialty. She obtained her USA Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential in 2025 and is pursuing her Australian Hand Therapy Accreditation in 2026. Prior to joining Mediclinic UAE, she worked in a private hand therapy clinic in Australia.

Claire treats a wide range of hand and wrist injuries and conditions, including finger and wrist fractures, joint replacements, ligament injuries, tendon repairs, nerve problems and repairs, and complex regional pain syndrome. She is experienced in post-operative rehabilitation following hand and wrist surgery as well as conservative (non-surgical) management of soft tissue injuries. She also designs and fabricates custom protective and mobilizing splints tailored to each patient's needs to support healing and restore function.

Claire is particularly interested in managing complex trauma injuries affecting the hand and upper limb. She develops individualized, evidence-based treatment programs focused on helping patients return to their daily activities and work with optimal functional recovery.
